The disposal is in, and the sink trap and drain are all hooked up. We love PVC! Special thanks to GP for being in the right place at the right time. It’s a major pain to have to hold a 30 pound disposal in one hand and twist and lock it in place, all while lying on your back.

Countertop delivered! We got a really deep sink installed. Both sections of the kitchen look quite shiny. The whole thing is starting to come together nicely. Now we can start cooking for real, which is one of our favorite ways to spend time.

Thanks to the gracious efforts of our houseguest, Greg Lenkevich, our embarrassing hedge is now back down to manageable size. Check our photo gallery for a new picture from the outside. It looks like people may actually live here.

After weeks of demolition, reconstruction, painting, and sprucing up, our new house is … livable. More projects to come once we settle in for a bit and take a nice, long nap.

After three months of looking around, we made an offer on this 4-bedroom house in Wallingford, PA. It was accepted. The renovation is in progress.
